My Story
Completing the Master of Social Work (MSW) program with the University of Michigan has been the culmination of a childhood dream!

As an older adult, I’ve collected lots of experience having been everything from a race car driver to a nuts-and-bolts salesperson to a pastor & hospital/hospice chaplain as well as a full-time caregiver to both parents. Yes, it’s been a varied career path but I’m most grateful for the experiences and learnings in these roles (and more) as I believe it’s led me to this season of life where I can connect with people, like you, and provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space for you to express your self and your needs.
And what about people like you? We all go through days, weeks, even seasons of life where at times we could use support, a listening person (not an AI one), space to dream & discern, a time to carve out space for you and what you are going through in this season of life. I’ll be here cheering for you all the way!

Life has provided me with a love of serving people experiencing depression, anxiety, older adults, those who are caregiving for others, LGBTQIA2S+ people and their loved ones, people experiencing loss and grief (in all its many forms), people who feel isolated (in all its many forms), people who are wondering what the heck is going on and feel the need to talk with a safe someone, people going through their varied experiences of life and feel they could use some supports in this season.
My services are available by secure Zoom in the privacy of your own home, and, if you live in Grand Traverse or Leelanau Counties, I am also offering home-based visits.

If this sounds like a good fit, let's connect.
